From Prison to Praise

To God be all the glory all the time!

On June 20th, Ronnie Forbes, founder of One Nation Dream Makers, was officially sworn in as the new commander for Livermore VFW Post 7265.

He asks: "How did this happen? I was released from Santa Rita Jail October 14, 2016, and miracles are happening daily because I have not looked back! I will celebrate 7 years clean and sober on July 4, 2022.

"Forgiveness is the key," Ronnie tells us. "A special thanks to Commander Mike Gilmore and all of my VFW comrades for helping God to help give me hope again to carry on! Marching forward in God's army is a win-win exciting journey for real!

"Thank you Lord and thank all of my supporters who came out today to share this miracle from God. And thank all others who are not here tonight, who have been and are being used by God to bring out the best in me.

"I love you all so very much. Remember, it takes a village. Teamwork makes God's dreamwork!

"Now let's get busy doing more work for the kingdom of God by helping more of those in need. We served our country, now let's work together to serve our communities."
